The Goals of Mentoring Pairs for Child Care

Support recruitment, retention and career development in the sector by:

  1. Strengthening peer to peer relationships between Supervisor's who have been in their position for 5 years or greater alongside Supervisors new to their position.
  2. Offering professional learning modules and opportunities to practice strategies and gain new perspectives and understanding alongside a peer.

  4. Supporting Supervisors in feeling a greater connection to the larger early learning community by reducing a sense of isolation for those who may work independently.
